WORLDWIDE: Support the training of a Seminarian

ACN currently supports around one in every 10 seminarians training for the Priesthood across the world. Coming mostly from very poor families and parishes, these men would be unable to complete their formation without our financial assistance.

In Ukraine, there is an urgent need to support the training of seminarians who are also involved in providing pastoral care to traumatised and struggling faithful.

“The seminarians regularly visit the old people’s homes to support the elderly who have no one else, or they go to the soup kitchens in the city and hand out food to the needy. As a result of the war, the economic situation in Ukraine continues to deteriorate. The costs of the Seminary have also increased,” explains Fr Piotr Brzeski, the Rector of the Seminary in Lviv.

Mario Dovhnayk, a Seminarian from Kyiv tells ACN: “I would not be able to go on with my seminary formation without your kind support. It is very comforting and a source of joy to know that there is someone out there in the world, ready to help us and who cares about us. Thank you.”

€800 will help a Seminarian to follow his vocation for a whole year / €67 will support the training of a Seminarian for a month.
